| Whilst most of the Ladies were off to the Ayurvedic Spas for various full body massages I decided to limit myself to one of the famous Indian Head Massages coupled with a small amount of hair colour enhancement. Was very pleaded with the outcome. Worth every Rupee, would't you agree. A few more sessions and I could be challenging Mister Marouane Fellaini at Man. United? |

| A small Indian road-side stall selling, inter alia, a product called PAAN which is a mild stimulant with medicinal properties. This product comprised a Betel Leave covering Areca Nuts and Slaked Lime. The lime which we also saw at various markets in India is made from Sea Shells! | An enforced bit of Culture--but only for a couple of hours!! Kathakali dance performance based on stories by Ramayana and Mahabharata. | Traditional House Boats of the Kerula Backwaters. We boarded ours at Alleppey for a four hour journey to our Lake Shore Lodge. "----you are mesmerised and surprised at every turn with serene beauty and charm---" so the book says I say we saw a few Kingfishers from afar and a river Tern! In four hours!! |
